The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) will hold its second round of statewide public informational meetings to discuss the fiscally constrained Draft Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for Fiscal Year 2019-2022 (+2). The Waimea meeting will be at 6 p.m. July 31 at Waimea Civic Center in the State Office Building Conference Room at 67-5189 Kamamalu Street.
Fiscal constraint of the new STIP was done using technical information from HDOT’s management systems, information on project schedules and readiness and coordination with public agencies and the public. HDOT will also share the survey results that were gathered from the first round of meetings and providing information about next steps.
